About the artist

I was born in 1954 in the village of Bogoroditsa. In 1979 I was admitted to the National Academy of Arts, and in 1980 I won a scholarship to the Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg, where I completed my education in 1985.

Since 1986 I have lived and worked in Blagoevgrad as a teacher at the St. Cyril and St. Methodius National Humanities High School. Since 1998 I have been a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists (UBA).

From 2003 to 2005 I taught arts in Kairouan, Tunisia. From 2006 to 2012 I chaired the Union of Bulgarian Artists for Blagoevgrad and the region.
